RAMIRO LOPEZ

Ramiro Lopez, a driving force in the global Techno scene, is an artist who sports years of know-how and perseverance in the studio as well as handling own imprints, offering high-energy sets charged with hard groove sensibility but never forgetting his Spanish roots blend with hypnotic textures.

Originally from central Spain (his beloved Castilla La Mancha), Ramiro has shaped his signature sound rooted in techno but infused with elements of acid, urban and even flamenco. Constantly evolving and reshaping. His productions consistently strike a balance between underground intensity and dancefloor accessibility. Over the last few years, Ramiro has released a string of powerful tracks and EPs on respected labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode or Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid, and recently signed by Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE team.

While his sound has received solid support from names of the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens or Carl Cox, just to name a few, he grounded two labels on his own: Odd Recordings (along with the Indian techno master Arjun Vagale) and Union-Three (with Spartaque), leading him into the creation of his most up to date adventure, the brand new DVIZIO Sound.

The same desire to innovate that guided him to create his first album “Al Retortero”, a 14-tracker LP where Ramiro went further combining warehouse techno with a sharp-edged mood including sonorities such as intergalactic hip hop, hypnotic urban grooves, flamenco-fusion as well as dubbed out electronica, is now to be noticed on the venture called Chef Lopez, a creative endeavor that fuses his passion for electronic music with cooking, often brewed with his unique artistic flair and charisma.

Born during the pandemic and growing ever since, Chef Lopez has been endorsed by major electronic event promoters like EDM Maniac and Insomniac, and after the first three Seasons, chapters including highlighted DJs such as DJ Nano, Fatima Hajji, Andrés Campo, Xenia, Spartaque, Lilly Palmer, Klaudia Gawlas, Cristian Varela, the full 240Kmh crew and a long etc, were live and hit the Youtube charts rounding a millionaire amount of views on social media.

Ramiro’s sound keeps dynamic, dark, and rhythmic. His passion for pushing boundaries and connecting with crowds is unmistakable. For these reasons he is a regular feature in clubs and festivals worldwide, with a touring schedule taking him across Europe, South America, Asia and the US, actually it can be said any corner of the planet.

Ramiro López isn’t just following the Techno movement—he’s helping shape where it goes next.
