So many things have happened since Ramiro López took his first steps in music… His musical creativity and innovation have always been latent throughout his life. He has progressed at a steady pace with great success releasing music on highly relevant imprints such as Drumcode, Filth on Acid or Terminal M and became –head honcho of the labels Odd Recordings and recently Union Three, alongside Spartaque.
Ramiro is now in a bouncy mood. Playful and creative as never ever before. And of course, working day by day to improve those feelings. His wholehearted dedication at work is obtaining great results releasing on: Drumcode (with two solo EPs and some singles), INTEC (“This & That” it was included within Carl Cox’s “New Year Weapons” published by Mixmag), Octopus Recordings, Suara, Bedrock (Nicole Moudaber remixed his banger “That’s Not Happening”), Noir, Bandidos by Rafa Barrios or Tronic among many others … on 2021, and taking advantage of the pandemic break, he released his debut album entitled “Al retortero” . 15 original tracks where he managed to express his artistic curiosity in the most original way and garnering an impressive support by a large part of the electronic scene worldwide.
The wheel never stops and Ramiro is constantly evolving: involved in many projects like the brand new Cheflopez´s Episodes (coming up from the pandemic times and consist on play music and cooking at the same time along some other DJ friends at beautiful landscapes of his beloved La Mancha Area where he comes from). This fresh concept is having a huge popularity and is his wish to further develop it. Cheflopez is powered and sponsored by EDM Maniac and Insomniac, two of the biggest electronic event organizers in the USA.
His desire since the beginning is to make people live and enjoy what they listen to while he is working in the booth. He has collaborated with great artists and is constantly on the road traveling all around the world delighting everyone with his music. His presence in South America and the US is outstanding! We can say without a doubt that he is part of the new wave of Spanish artists. With a lot still to offer Ramiro is an artist to bet on.
