Bulgarian DJ and producer, METODI is known for a sound that doesn’t like to stay still. Starting his career in his home town, Sofia, in 2007, he has developed a style that avoids sticking to one subgenre; instead, he focuses on the energy of the floor, blending mainly the groove of Tech House with the drive of Techno. His sets usually live in that 128 to 140 BPM range, where he likes to mix raw underground tracks with those bigger, more accessible peak-time records.
This “no boundaries” approach is also the foundation of his label, Set About Music, which he launched in 2016 together with Gallya. Through both his own music and the label’s releases, METODI aims for music that is functional but also has enough character to stand out. For him, it’s all about finding that balance: ensuring the tempo and rhythm are perfectly dialed in for the moment without being restricted by one specific style.
