German-born techno artist Marc Faenger makes a point of having many creative facets. As a seasoned and experienced artist he is as effective as a DJ as he feels at home on a live-stage. His energetic sets always deliver his trademark-sound – No-nonsense, hypnotic-to-raw, impactful techno.
As a producer he made his first steps into the broader light of the scene on Richie Hawtin`s Minus imprint before zoning in further and sculpting his own, personal style.
These days he releases on highly acclaimed labels such as Illegal Alien Records, Black Codes Experiments or Recorded Things, just to name a few.
His 100% analog live setup consists of a carefully selected gear list: A sampler, a drum machine, effects and of course the heart of the system: His Modular rig! This setup ensures to deliver the unfiltered, raw but sophisticated sound that Marc is known for.
