Whether it is producing or DJing, there is one single constant in all of A.D.H.S.’ work: maximum energy. Being a genuine raver, he is not merely on stage to entertain others – he is fully present in order to create synergy with the crowd. In his sets and productions, A.D.H.S. combines musical influences from rave techno of the 90s, electronica and Hip-Hop.
His production journey started in 2018, when he first drew attention to his work due to the collabo track “Decipher”, released on Electric Ballroom. He immediately received support from scene heavyweights like Adam Beyer and quickly entered the Top 20 Techno Charts on Beatport.
A.D.H.S. then released his first solo track “Zulu” on Terminal M in 2022. The track was heavily supported by techno luminaries Monika Kruse, Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer & Lilly Palmer who were seen playing it at festivals like Awakenings in The Netherlands or Ultra Music Festival in Miami. “Zulu” not only entered the Top 10 Beatport Techno Charts, but also the German and Dutch Spotify Viral Top 50, thereby further cementing A.D.H.S.’ standing in the scene.
His releases “Dancin’4Ever” (April 22, Electric Ballroom) and “Paranoize” (July 22, Spannung Records) are every bit as impactful on the dancefloor, proven by tastemakers Amelie Lens, I Hate Models or Solomun who regularly play them to their fans. Closing off 2022 with “Razor”, A.D.H.S. debut track on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Records, he has unmistakably set the tone for what is to come. In June 2023, A.D.H.S. brought his vigor overseas with ‘Rastanta’ and celebrated his debut with the LA-based standout label ‘Factory 93’.
All along this journey, the young Berliner by choice continues to play in clubs and at festivals across the world, captivating fans in Colombia, India, Argentina, Thailand, Lebanon and more. Furthermore, he made it on to the techno mainstage of the infamous SonneMondSterne festival for the third time in 2023. By now, A.D.H.S. could easily be a synonym for high energetic techno. No crowd will pass by his music unscathed.
For his latest release, techno phenomenon A.D.H.S. took on a very special kind of challenge: recognizing the historic significance of Thomas Schumacher’s “When I Rock” as it reached its 25-year milestone, he decided to embark on a creative journey to pay homage to the original masterpiece. The remix, out September 22nd on Thomas Schumacher’s own Electric Ballroom Records, breathes new life into «When I Rock,» inviting listeners to rediscover the track’s timeless appeal in a fresh and exciting way. As both artists collaborate to celebrate the enduring impact of «When I Rock,» their collaboration serves as a testament to the profound influence that a deviation from predefined paths can have on the evolution of music, and how contemporary artists like A.D.H.S. can shape and honor this legacy through their innovative interpretations.
