Born and raised in Brussels, Marhu has quickly emerged as a new talent in the underground electronic music scene. With Swiss and Belgian heritage, Marhu blends Psy Trance with Techno, drawing inspiration from various influences, including Japanese and Indian instruments.
As a resident artist of ARTCORE Records, the label founded by Indira Paganotto, Marhu will perform at the ARTCORE showcases starting in 2024. She recently released “Bansurí” on a VA compilation from ARTCORE Records. Bansurí is a crisply produced , tempo-focused gem with delightful flute overtones, a track that reached the 2nd place in the Psy Trance Top Tracks on Beatport, with more releases anticipated.
Earlier this year Marhu released “La Monnaie” on Electric Ballroom, inspired by Brussels’ opera monument which was a fusion between classical, orchestral music and techno.
Recognized as an emerging act on Beatportal’s radar in 2022, Marhu is hailed as one of Belgium’s most promising DJs and producers. Her DJ sets prioritize storytelling, engaging audiences with positivity and energy.
Performances at venues and festivals like Extrema Outdoor, Dour Festival, Rex Club, and Love Parade Berlín have captivated audiences. Her 2024 gigs at Close Weekend in Oberhausen, I Love Techno in Montpellier, and Bricks Festival in Toulouse highlight her as a rising star to watch.
